What Raw Food Detox Diet Is All About

The consumption of animal products is limited and moderate. It includes chicken, eggs, and fish. For dairy products, dieters are limited to only consume goat cheese. The strictest is level 1 wherein dieters must only eat raw fruit, vegetables and juices up to dinner which is a raw vegan meal on most days of the week. A healthy source of protein such as salmon is allowed, but only once a week.

As the followers go through the diet and levels, the body will commence detoxification process, cleansing the body at a pace that is gentle and gradual so that the dieter will experience less uncomfortable symptoms.The author says that one does not have to eat 100 percent raw food in order for him or her to experience the benefits of the diet. Rose says that it is actually wise to incorporate cooked food in the process so that the body does not go to an intense mode of detoxification.

This kind of diet may not be for everyone but it can do you good if you try it. According to Rose, food combining is a significant part of the program. The dieters are ushered on how to choose “quick exit combinations” that helps to improve a person’s digestion and elimination. If you think you can handle the raw food detox diet, go for it. But, be sure to check with your doctor first so that proper assessments can be performed to determine your capacity to go through with it.
